Starting this school year 2019-2020, the AP Program is introducing new resources and processes designed to help students earn college credit and placement.
Here’s what you and your student need to know:
Students are registering for AP Exams now through their AP classes. Exams will continue to be administered in May.
The exam fee isn’t changing. However, there will be a $40 fee for late registration (after Nov. 15) and a $40 cancelation or unused exam fee.
DHS is collecting deposits until November 1, 2019; balance is due by February 28, 2020.
Students will receive personalized feedback through new digital tools that provide daily support for every AP classroom. Their teachers will be able to track their performance throughout the year using monthly personal progress checks.
Do you need help with any of your classes? Homework Hangout has begun for this school year. Come to the LMC on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:15 and members of the National Honor Society will help you with your work. Homework Hangout is open to all students and we would love to help you get the school year started off right.
