Happy New Year!  It's unbelieveable that it is already January.  The students are already working hard this trimester. We are focusing on the Southeast region in the United States, opinion writing, and working on small group novel studies.  In math we are working on division and are moving into long division.  In science we are working on forms of energy and the transfer of energy.  The next assessment envelope will be sent home on January 12th.  The map test on the southeast will be on January 19th.
