The Dartmouth Public Schools follow regulations set by the Department of Public Health that all school children must have a comprehensive physical examination done by a family physician prior to entering preschool and kindergarten.
A physical examination is mandatory each year prior to participation in any sport. The physical examination must be dated as of August 1st for that year.
The Department of Public Health also recommends that students have a physical examination by a family physician before entering Grades K, 3, 6 and 9.
Please notify the school nurse of any changes in medical status.
